The International Festival invites students to engage not only during the event but afterwards as well. Our “What’s Next” booths hosted by campus departments continue the conversation on how students can continue to build on their cultural competency while at NC State University.

What is a “What’s Next” Booth?
“What’s Next” is a section of the International Festival that connects attendees to opportunities outside of the event. Departments are given the opportunity to expose attendees to their programs, courses, and engagement opportunities that are designed to enhance students cultural competency.
What are the requirements to host a department booth?
- Be an NC State office, unit, or college on campus
- Have a global or culturally focused program, course, or engagement opportunity to share with attendees
- Have an interactive portion to the booth (i.e. food, cultural game, or learning experience
- Have a representative available at the booth for the entirety of the International Festival
When is the last day to register to host a booth?
The last day to register to host a booth for the 2022 International Festival is Wednesday, March 9th at 8 AM EST.
